About Navy SeaPorte and the Avansis Team:

Avansis has been awarded a Full and Open award as a small business prime contract supported by a team of large system integrators and small businesses in support of the SeaPort-e program. 
SeaPort-e is the Navy's platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and other government agencies can use the contract with Navy approval. The SeaPort-e program provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform. Since nearly 85% of its contract–holders are small businesses, the SeaPort-e approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the Nation’s engine of job growth.

Quality Program 

The Avansis Team will monitor and control performance information and work results of the projects as part of an integrated approach.  The Avansis Team will work with the Navy management to ensure the timely collection, analysis, and dissemination of performance information to all stakeholders in conformance to the integrated Project Communication Management Plan; such includes the communication of these and related activities:

 n  Review variances to the planning documents;

 n  Identify and Execute change requests

 n  Recommend corrective action to the subprojects;

 n  Recommend preventive action to the subprojects

 n  Verify scope requirement in comparison to work results

 n  Promote the documentation of lessons learned across the subprojects

 n  Monitor risk events and facilitate risk assessment

 n  Forecast cost projections related to travel and other appropriate cost elements.

In addition to our overall focus on a consistent dedication to quality, our Quality Control Program has a number of procedures in place to ensure that we monitor and sustain our performance in this area. Our Project Managers are responsible for all aspects of their projects, including continual monitoring of project implementation and review of all deliverables to ensure that only high quality products are provided. Their Project Plans must include specific procedures for ensuring quality support and review of products, including the specific individuals that will have review responsibility. Additionally, since the customer is the final arbiter of product quality, every Project Plan must include specific procedures for obtaining customer feedback.  Our team holds numerous ISO 9000 and 20000 QA certifications.
